Oh My Goddess! Episode 2: Upheaval, Uprooting, & Away

Hey fam!

How’s it going out there? In your cozy homes with all of your life still making sense around you?

No, we’re not bitter…. or jealous…. we just have been through the most intense moves of our lives, filling a 10’x20′ storage unit to the brim with the contents of what was our beloved templehouse, and we just hope you appreciate your stable, consistent home life – provided you have it – you little twat! 😛

We’re currently writing this on the other side of the Burning Man adventure, though for details about the experience you’re going to have to stay tuned for episode three. In the meantime, we’re offering up a hot, steamy glimpse into the hilariously hellish experience that was our week leading up to Burning Man, a special type of initiation that only crazy people would have agreed to on the soul contract level.

It’s been about two weeks since we moved and our bodies still hurt from the desperation and upheaval that was our move. Why our landlord gave us only four weeks of notice to move out we will never understand.

How innocent and naive we were before getting that reality bomb dropped on us! We will forever cherish the rose-colored months imagining that everything would be easy and free flowing on our way to the big Burn.

It is said that you agree to everything in your life ahead of time, or at least the major movements and events. Well the uphill battle of completing the challenge of moving while preparing for Burning Man, one of the most physically intense experiences on the planet – and being able to fund the unexpected expenses as such – was absolutely draconian on our parts.

Higher selves – we need to TALK.

Bruised, scraped, sore, dehydrated, down to the wire with time (packing the car at 6am on the morning we were to leave, yet cleaning our house til 4pm before leaving the house keys on that same day, with no sleep!) – supplies for the journey tossed into whatever space was available – frantic, sleepless, working around the clock and STILL barely making it – this was our life, and what misery was this reality?! HOW could it get so low, with such devotion to the awakening mission supposedly our insurance against such times?

This life ain’t no cake walk; the initiations are endless and you never arrive. Yet we bow to the strength that we discovered within us, and to the community who showed up to support us during this time. It seems the big lesson through this passage was to ask for help, to realize that we can no longer do what we are doing alone, to ask and receive in return for what we are always inclined to be giving.

Big thank yous to your heart from our hearts. And big, uncertain, hugs from our wandering circus that is our lives right now. Coming from people who are usually the grounded, stable, consistent ones – this change of pace and lack of rooting has been inspiring, if scary – but so much less scary than if you weren’t a part of it. So thank you.

And without further ado, here is episode two of Oh My Goddess, a platform gearing up to create high-vibrational media centered around consciousness and the awakening!:
